A stainless steel circular zipper with a diameter of 6 meters appeared impressively on the white wall, "opening" the surface of the art museum, leading the audience to explore its internal world. Yesterday, the contemporary art experience Exhibition "wavelength: perception edge" was unveiled at the Beijing Times Art Museum. 12 world-renowned top contemporary artists / groups brought 14 immersive art installations to lead people to break through the "perception edge" through the "magic" of contemporary art.
This exhibition creates surreal art scenes from the four perspectives of "life", "soul", "material" and "world". Opposite the installation work "Alex chenek opens the Beijing Times Art Museum", another work "between us, a sea" echoes it. It is woven from thousands of recycled glasses. When the audience observes through the lens, they represent thousands of different perspectives, symbolizing the powerful energy of human individual experience.
In the exhibition, the audience must pass through a "portal" like a canyon. The artist Mario Rodriguez observes the world with the eyes of a geologist, gets inspiration from the cracks on the earth's surface, and expresses his tribute to nature with this work. The audience can also enter a space illuminated by the "five planets" device. With the rotation of the light ball, people in the exhibition hall will feel floating on another planet.
The exhibition also exhibited a series of creative works integrating multimedia and comprehensive materials, presenting surreal landscapes such as the suspended rainbow light path, the crossing gate on the beach, and the floating bubble world. The exhibition will last until September 12.
